"A fabulous hotel in a great location in the historic area of Santa Cruz in Seville’s old town. All the sights are within easy walking distance and there are lots of great traditional places to eat nearby. The marble throughout the hotel made it feel very authentic and the hotel was so clean, and the rooms were great. The staff at Fernando III were absolutely wonderful and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seville. While staying at the hotel I had a bad fall in the street and broke my ankle. The hotel staff on the evening of my accident were fantastic and so attentive. They came out to the street and called an ambulance, helped translate, and kept me warm and supported. On returning to the hotel from hospital in the early hours of the morning they had already moved us to accessible rooms so I could access the room via the lift. The next day they organised a hired wheelchair for us and helped with ramps to allow me to go onto the rooftop bar and enjoy some sunshine. They regularly checked in to make sure I was ok and even offered us a complimentary meal in the hotel restaurant, (which was delicious). The staff at the hotel really made a massive difference to my experience of having an accident and injury abroad. Their efforts and help made things so much more manageable. Thank you so much to all the staff and in particular the lady from reception and barman who assisted and helped me on the evening of my fall. I will forever be grateful. "

"Lovely hotel! We were very happy with it. The breakfast is very good, location is very good only 10 mins walk to the restaurant and sight seeing area. Just small comments for improvement. There is no tissue box and conditioner in the room which is not very convenient, and no instructions on how to adjust the air condition. These are small matters. Overall, I would lovely to come back again. "

"First time at a Barcelo. Lovely receptionist gave us an upgrade to a fabulous room and as a surprise after we returned to our room after a show, we had exquisite truffles with a chocolate dipped strawberry waiting for us. Perfect. Great porter with the coolest moustache I've ever seen. All the staff were polite and friendly - even the on-site cleaning lady with the exception of the concierge. I politely asked him to call us a taxi and he became aggressive saying it was not in his job description and that I should go to reception. I walked away and he shouted after me that "in this hotel, the concierge gives information about the city." Unbelievable and very much below the other staff members' professionalism and service. The hotel and staff are amazing, except for the rude concierge, who should be retrained and if that doesn't work, well then the next step is obvious. Thanks to the rest of the staff for an otherwise great stay."

"I rarely revisit any hotel but this is the exception. I was here two years ago and it was great then and even better now. The whole place has been painted and everything looks brand new. The staff are as helpful and friendly as before. The rooftop bar and pool are great. The hotel is in a great location. "

"This is a lovely hotel! Staff are very friendly and have excellent English. There’s a very nice cafe/bar in the lobby with very reasonable prices and good breakfast. The only problem is that the design of the shower makes water go all over the floor. Great place! Wed stay again! "
