"The VRBO was cute. For what we paid, I would’ve liked to see better. The rugs under the bed and couch were very dirty. Multiple spills of random things all over them. We were given one washcloth and one hand towel for a family of four, on a 4 day trip. There wasn’t one towel hanger to hang a towel on, after our showers, in the bathroom. "I was leaving on an international flight out of Newark on Sunday, so I decided to fly in a little sooner and spend Saturday in NYC to take in dinner and a show. This place was the perfect spot. There's a bus line within walking distance that takes you directly into the Grand Central terminal at 42nd St. Takes about 30 min and only costs 4. The space was cozy and I felt completely safe. Would definitely recommend for a quick visit. "

If you’re looking to visit New York without breaking the bank, I would recommend. The location was in a prime location, so close to Times Square and lots of shopping and restaurants. They should definitely remodel this property because it could be amazing with some remodeling. "

"Overall it was as described. The fireplace being non-functional was unexpected however there were plenty of space heaters to keep you warm. The steam baseboard heaters need to be flushed or something to keep them from making loud noise in the middle of the night. Those were the only items we had for our stay and ultimately we all enjoyed our stay immensely. "

"unit was very clean and host was very responsive and helpful. just a few notes to add- mattresses are not real comfortable, the bathrooms are very small and parking on the street for our second car was awful. There were not any street parking spots available except for the last day and it was clear down the street. I suggest if you stay here just bring 1 car , as that is all that will fit in the driveway and beware getting into the driveway to park is a feat also as there is a narrow space left...

"The unit worked for our visit. But the space isn't as warm as the photos suggest. For example, unlike the photos there are no area rugs in the rooms or throw pillows on the sofa. The rooms are very sparsely decorated. The ceiling is peeling in the shower; some of the electric outlets don't work. In the kitchen, there were 3 coffee makers but no extra trash bags. So, while it was fine, it definitely lacked some finesse that one would expect at this price"
