"We flew in to PDX to visit friends in Portland and Vancouver. The motel was near the airport and close to Interstate 5. The room was basic, quite clean and included a comfortable chair. Parking was convenient and free. It is a short walk down to a Fred Meyer store (which includes a Starbucks) and there were a few bars and restaurants within a few blocks, a few of which we had the opportunity to try out. Nothing fancy, but the Viking Motel is an outstanding value in a convenient location. ...
