"An amazing little-known gem of a hotel. We arrived in Istanbul for a 20-hour layover and found out that our existing reservation had been canceled. Frantically searching for an alternative, we came across this hotel which had a few reviews which were all good. "Fly Point Hotel was convenient and close to the airport. I stayed 2 nights at the hotel and the staff were lovely. The receptionist Turkan was nice and friendly. There are Turkish restaurants and Baklava, Turkish delight shops nearby and you can grab a bite very easily. If you are looking for a hotel close to the airport, please check out Fly Point Hotel. "

"For early morning flights from Istanbul airport, this is a perfect stay. It's a small room but the room felt clean. It's only about 15 minutes from the airport, so it's a good option if you don't have time go into the downtown istanbul area and don't want to spend too much. We got in closer to 11pm and needed to leave for airport around 5am, so it was great to have a short sleep and shower to freshen up."

"Nothing special, it was a clean hotel with breakfast. Just keep the wording in mind as they gave me and a friend only one bed because the room said "one or two beds", but it was only one night so no big deal. Other than that breakfast was good, area was nice, the front desk converts USD, and overall it was a god experience."

"The three young people who were attending the reception area and assisted me to my room, were really congenial and hospitable. Zaynep, Mustafa and Gabriel took special time and care for me, because I am a 75 year old woman who walks with a cane. After my two day stay in Istanbul, I flew to Montreal and stayed at a Wyndham hotel. The staff was not kind to me at all!"

"This is a great place to stay if you need one night close to the airport to make a connection, which was our situation. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was a short walk to some good restaurants. A taxi ride to the airport is only about $10."

"I spent about ten days in this nice hotel and I will definitely back there next time. First of all I am attracted by the very beautiful view of some historical buildings that could be seen from the back a huge glass wall on the top floor where their restaurant is placed. I will never forget the kindness of TUGCE, a young peofessional personal who offered me Turkish Kahve and delicious omlete. You don't want to leave the restaurant after finishing your breakfast because of the amazing view of the sultan ahmed and the blue mosque. "

"This is a beautiful hotel that seems to have been renovated recently as it is in excellent condition. My room and bathroom were beautifully appointed. The dining and reception area are scenic with excellent service. I also enjoyed the gym and spa. "

Shocking quality for the price

"I stayed here for more than a week because it is so comfortable. It is the best value in the area, and very stylishly renovated. It has kitchenettes, a safe, mini fridge, dishwasher, writing desk, coffee table, TV with 2 channels in English (BBC, Al Jazeera news), bidet, exposed brick, large openable windows (or fabulous patio, I stayed in two different rooms)."

"I am a frequent flyer/traveler and God knows how many times I came to Istanbul and stayed in various hotels. I can gladly say this one is the best yet. To prove my point, I originally booked 3 nights, but extended it another 5 nights. Turkish people are known to be very hospitable and this hotel has some of the nicest staff. Mr. Hakan at the front desk was very kind and upon learning my extension to stay, he upgraded my room. Mr. Abdullah (concierge) was also very kind and helpful. As for the rooms: the first one was a king bed at the 13th floor (yup, this hotel has a 13th floor, they are not afraid of superstitions). Very clean room, with an amazing view of the Mall of Istanbul, the river of traffic flowing around it, showing you the true modern Istanbul. The second room was a 1 bedroom, 1 living room residence at the 28th floor, which has a very good size kitchen. Perfect for a couple."
