"What a perfect place to relax and enjoy the river and the beautiful mountain town of Hot Springs! The house is super clean and really beautiful. It's private but not isolated, right in the Pisgah Forest on the French Broad River. I visited with a friend and we each had a large, comfortable bedroom and bath. "Sally was a wonderful host. The cabin was so cozy and adorable. Having our coffee on the porch in the morning was the perfect way to start the day. I had never been to the area before so Sally made some nice suggestions. We stopped by Davey Crockett park which was a very interesting and very pretty stroll. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the Limestone or Jonesborough area."

"We rented Viking Mountain Lodge for my mom’s 80th birthday (4 adults and 1 yellow lab). The cabin is as advertised - beautiful location and everything we needed. recommend the drive to the top of Viking Mountain and the hike to Blackstack Cliffs. The village of Hot Springs is really cool and the AT runs straight through downtown. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to hike parts of the Appalachian Trail!"

"This cabin is perfect! Lots of fun and plenty of space! The bunk room was a huge PLUS! The host communicated so well throughout the entire process… even when it snowed more than expected and we were not sure we would be able to make it down off the mountain!! This was a great location! So glad our family did this!"

"This was our second time staying at Acorn cabin and we plan to return yet again! Our family thoroughly enjoys this gem in Weaverville. We could explore by day and relax on the porch or by the fire at night. This visit we ventured to Mt. Pisgah, Black Mountain, Montreal, Mt. Mitchell, a lot of the Blue Ridge Pkwy, and two days at Biltmore. We really enjoy walking the nature trail into town for ice cream and pizza! The cabin is clean, comfortable, and the owners are very friendly. We’ll be back!"

"The views from the balcony were gorgeous. The community was quiet. As a Floridian, the sloped gravel roads were a bit scary, especially after a bunch of storms but we made it safely. Highly recommend 4WD/AWD. So peacful sitting outside and enjoying the birds and the running creek below, plus the hot tub was awesome. Due to the rain, the firewood provided was pretty wet and difficult to use. Overall, a great stay!"
