"Our family really enjoyed our stay! It was exactly as described. The beds were comfortable; as we also enjoyed the pond, sunsets on the porch, and Hershey, the donkey. We found him some pears from a tree on the property and he loved them! We look forward to booking the house again, as our daughter attends Mars Hill University and it's only about a 10 mile drive to the school."

"The cottage was as good or better than the pictures on Vrbo, and we had a delightful time. No electronic "babbling brook" generator could match the sound of Spring Creek just outside the door. Proximity to town and hiking were both great. Perfect weather helped, but had it rained we could have just stayed indoors and enjoyed ourselves just as much. Can't thank you enough, Karen!!"

"Perfect little place for a get away. We were here for a songwriting retreat at another location in town….so basically we needed a place to sleep. Didn’t spend much time during the day in the house. The arrangement of the house is nice. The Living room and kitchen is in the middle of the house with a bedroom and bathroom on each end of the house.
