"Nice place to stay, had some problems with the water in the house at first but Sheldon took care of everything like a boss. Just outside of Golden, 20 min. from Kicking Horse mountain, everything is near, little functional kitchen but no microwave, just so you know… It is a real good place to stay, I recommend it to anyone that doesn’t need a lot of space but a functional place…"

The views of the forest and the mountains from the front balcony changed each day and night from cloudy to fog to sunny to bright starry night. Unbelievable! I want to come back so bad! "

"There were 18 of us ranging from 7 to 70 and renting both Monashee & Valhalla worked great for our large group. It was handy having the 2 kitchens and 8 bedrooms. We were able to move both picnic tables together on one patio to form a large gathering area for meals, games and just visiting. Would definitely rent again."

"We were on a ski trip with seven guys. Valhalla was the perfect Spot. 10 minutes to Golden and 20 to Kicking Horse. The view is awesome. We will try and come back."

"Beautiful view. Clean and nice property. 3 large rooms plus a spare double bed. close to Golden, Kicking horse, Moberly Xc skiing. "

"Fabulous time staying in this beautiful log home with everything you need for a peaceful and cozy time tucked away in the mountains. The wood burning stove was a hit with our group who spent long days ski touring and the atmosphere and warmth was much appreciated. Charlotte was a fantastic host and very communicative. "

"Two adult friends and I stayed here and enjoyed the three separate bedrooms with bathrooms attached. The hot tub was great as well. "

"We were very well served by Dave and his home. It has everything that you need… even crocs for going to the hot tub. I would agree that it is a bit tired but very homely and suited us perfectly. It’s in a quiet area a few minutes drive out of Golden with deer all around."

"Gorgeous home out in the woods. Great accommodations for our group of 7 friends. Wonderful deck - and enough chairs for all of us. Hot tub was very relaxing! Lots of mosquitoes, but that happens in the woods! We would happily reserve here again!"
