"Fantastic staff, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Rosa was a massive help to us in seeing the northern lights. Possibly best shower I've ever used. Good room, duvet and pillows could be more comfortable. Nice breakfast included, and the Japanese cuisine restaurant downstairs for dinner was possibly my favourite meal of the holiday. "I had an excellent stay here. The apartment was very clean and tidy when I arrived and had all the conveniences one would need for an extended stay. It was out of the way of the high foot traffic areas but was a 6 minute walk to the city center. I would highly recommend it to others."

"I stayed at this Scandic hotel for a couple of days after completing the Norway in a Nutshell trip from Oslo to Flåm to Bergen. The location is excellent, the property is clean and well-maintained, and the staff service is top-notch. Overall, it offers great value."

"The hotel is very well located and in excellent condition. Being one street off of the main shopping/bar scene made it quiet at night. Bathroom is very tight but functional. Bed comfortable and our room was spacious (540). My wife is sensitive to light and the room can be made perfectly dark. All around perfect fir a shirt stay."

"This is a great hotel considering the room tariff I paid for my three nights stay at Magic Hotel. The hotel location is one of the best and just across the fish market. The staff are also great. Though I booked their least priced room but the front desk upgraded me to the harbor view room. The room was really big and the bathroom was also good size. The bathroom was very clean. The bed and linen all private of very good quality. I enjoyed the breakfast every morning and they have 24 hours free coffee and tea in the reception and also a restaurant in the hotel. There is no wardrobe or phone or iron in the room. But overall I was very happy that I booked this hotel. "

"Scandic Neptun is perfectly located—an easy walk to the harbor, Bryggen, and lots of great food and beer spots. The breakfast was excellent with a big variety and fresh options. Our room faced the inner courtyard, so no view—just other rooms across—but it was quiet and comfortable. Overall, a solid base for exploring Bergen!"
