"Dogwood Cottage was such a pleasant stay for us, so much more than we expected. Visiting our daughter in the area and having her able to stay with us during our visit there made our trip there even more special. The property added so much to the comfort and peacefulness that surrounded our stay there with the farm-like feel and amazing scenery along with the calming sound of the creek running nearby. The cottage was quaint and comfortable, very clean and furnished with everything we needed for our stay including fresh flowers to welcome us in and a dozen fresh eggs for us to enjoy. Being able to sit out on the porch throughout the day talking, drinking our coffee or tea in the morning or while winding down our day added that special touch to our stay at the cottage. Our hosts were very gracious and attentive as well checking in with us if anything was needed during our stay. They left special hand written notes that included places nearby to visit out for a meal or make a day trip out to experience what the area had to offer and enjoy, at one point even helping us with a low tire on our car by offering the use of an air compressor which we appreciated so much. Dogwood Cottage was truly a home away from home for us and would absolutely stay again. "

Joann and Curt thought of everything you will need to have a comfortable stay and have stocked the cabin to accommodate you. They even leave a detailed binder with instructions to where to find things in the cabin to local trails, attractions and restaurants. "
