"First visit back to the Jefferson in 42 years. Even more beautiful than we remembered. Meticulously maintained, the rooms are spacious with all the amenities one could ask for. A walk in closet, large bathroom with double sinks and separate shower, tub and lavatory. The service and staff are excellent from the front desk to the wait staff at Lemaire where we had a delicious meal and great breakfast. The Jefferson is what a 5 star hotel should be. "

The beds were very clean but not very comfortable. Tried breakfast from the on premises chef's kitchen two days and it was okay. French toasts were pretty good. "

"I want to be transparent here. My room was barebones, but it is what I paid for, and for that I was satisfied. If you’re looking for the 5 star experience without paying for it, that’s unrealistic here for right now. The staff were friendly and flexible. It’s my hope that Richmond hotel will provide more amenities, upgrades, and repairs as it gets more guests there."
