"Room was fine. Only thing I had an issue with was the heating turning itself on. I didn't want the heating on due to it triggering my asthma. Found a way to turn it off though eventually so all was good! It would have been better if there was controllable air conditioning as I was a little concerned from a safety point of view sleeping with the window open as a lone female on the ground floor. "

"Pleasant hotel well sited and a bargain off-season. Decent car park but could do with a couple of electric chargers. Room was too small to accommodate the amount of furniture, and was so warm that even though it was never hotter than 5 degrees we had the patio door open all the time. The spa was very nice and empty due to the time of year. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. Evening meal was only ok but you can understand that out of season. There was work going on while we were there which was a minor inconvenience but the room we stayed in was the real let down. Dated and uncared for. The bathroom was poorly finished and the shower was not the cleanest. The flooring was lifting and squishy in places and the room itself smelt of damp.
