"I booked at the last minute via Expedia and selected the breakfast option. Slightly cheaper than the "official" Greene King site. Fantastic greeting by staff - the checking in procedure was very slick. The room was clean (two single beds - I only needed one). Bathroom had recently been refurbished. Excellent well-run hotel in splendid location

"Very friendly staff, excellent welcome, didn't have meals but that was by choice. The hotel offers breakfast and dining area is very well laid out and spotless. Had superior room with fabulous view over beach and seafront. Room was well decorated and clean. Plenty of hot water, tea and coffee in room. Nothing was too much trouble and staff were very courteous. "

"The hotel itself is an interesting and attractive building. The outdoor area at the back was very nice and peaceful with a beautiful white Wisteria. The staff at reception and the restaurant were very helpful, friendly and considerate. The location was convenient for us to explore the local area. We had a very lovely weekend "
