Owner couple runs this B&B and have gradually expanded it over the past 12 years to now 15 rooms. We stayed in the Superior Room type which seems try largest one and is the size of a studio with separate sitting area. Breakfast served in common area but otherwise no restaurant on-site. Biking and walking trails nearby. Highly recommended for a quiet stay near Dendermonde. "

"I was not expecting a code-style reception at "A Flemish Tale. To me, an in-person reception check-in is essential for a traveler overseas like me. Thankfully, I was waiting downstairs at least 2 hours before my "check-in time" at 3:00 p.m., so that I was able to meet, totally by chance, the lady in charge at the entrance. But for this, I would not have been able to get my access code. Imagine how scary it was! "

The number listed on the Hotels.com is out of service. We managed to contact one owner by finding a phone number on another website. Not a great check-in system-this needs to be revamped before we can recommend."

"First off, our host, Bernard met us at the train station and drove us to the property which was conveniently located next to the park. We fell in love with the house the minute we saw it. "Das haus war so wie beschrieben. alles war sehr gut organisiert. der Pool war gut, Zubehör, wie zB ein großer Schwimmreifen, Sitzpolster für die Sitzgelegenheiten waren im Gartenhaus. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man für den täglichen Gebrauch braucht. Es ist ein älteres Haus, man darf also nicht davon ausgehen alles neu vorzufinden. wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Abende auf der Terasse waren sehr angenehm. Bitte bringt euch Anti-Mückenschutz mit. Danke"
