"It is a beautiful, well maintained, thoughtfully updated home. Had everything we could possibly need and the furniture and beds were all high end and comfortable. Slept like a baby the whole trip. The views are incredible and the kids and grownups all loved calling out BIG SHIP! every time a BIG SHIP! came past. The town of Alexandria was very cute, most things were closing for the season but we did still get to experience the boat tour, do some shopping and eat at a few local places. "This home is wonderful. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. My daughters were fighting over who was going to sleep in the "secret nook" on the top floor. Both bathrooms were large and well equipped. The kitchen / living room area was huge and made for a perfect area to congregate with family.
