"Stayed with family: husband and wife, and three children aged between 14 and 20. Great apartment with very spacious living room and incredible balcony just blocks from the acropolis. Could not get a better location in Plaka. Highly recommend this welllayes out and clean apartment. "

"Our family group of three adults and three kids loved staying in this house, which had a slightly quirky layout but some beautiful spaces and the bonus of an indoor pool to cool off in after hot days exploring Athens. The area is very interesting - lots of little bars and cafes around the place, and well off the tourist trail, but still within striking distance of Parthenon etc. We got cheap and easy Uber taxis but walking is possible too."

"Plenty of room. Nice street but surrounding area a bit run down. Easy 25 minute walk to Acropolis. Good restaurants, supermarket and shops within walking distance. The indoor pool was a hit. The only real downside was that the shower was disappointing. "

"Loved this apartment! There are 3 bedrooms, each with a private bath and one additional bathroom. The first bedroom on the right is beautiful but if you’re a light sleeper, you may want a back bedroom. There was a lot of noise from the restaurants below. The grocery store was very close, maybe 50 meters down the street. The open market was just across the street and we bought 1.5 Liter jugs of wine for only 3€. Great apartment and great access to everything. "

"The house is in a residential area so you feel a part of Athens rather than stuck in a tourist hotel. The house is close to the Hill of the Pnyx which has an amazing view of the Acropolis and surrounding area. There’s a market on the door step each Friday which is bustling with locals and the streets are filled with restaurants and independent shops. The very centre of Athens is a 20 minute stroll and if you don’t want to walk then there are plenty of buses. The hostess was always on hand to...

"This place was in the perfect area of Athens. I loved sitting on the deck in the morning with coffee and in the evenings after a long day of walking around Athens. My husband and I were sad to leave. We will return to Athens and we will definitely stay here again!"

"This is undoubtedly a fabulous apartment: the views from the terraces are awesome and there's plenty of room to spread out both indoors and out. Our only issue was with the hot tub, which didnt ever warm up, which was a major disappointment."

"This has been one of the best stays I have had. Transportation from the airport was provided (for a fee) and the host met us to go over everything. She went the extra mile by giving us recommendations of foods to try and nice places to eat and get some drinks. The location is perfect, just about a 30 min walk from the Acropolis. I definitely recommend!"

"Beautiful villa, well equipped and perfectly located. Exceptional staff support. Some details could be attended to such as wifi stability, shower curtains to avoid bathroom splashing, functional batteries in all remotes. Other than that we had a great time and enjoyed our stay very much. "

"The Acropolis Magenta is an excellent luxury suite/hotel facility in a good location in the heart of Athens, it is possible to walk to the Acropolis from here and to Syntagma too. Staff were nice and friendly and room options were good, there was a safe in my room and a small fridge too with bottled water which was appreciated. Only negatives I can say were that my room was facing the main road which tends to be noisy during overnight period too and I found it difficult to sleep comfortably more often than not. Only negative regarding the room was that there was no drawer or set of drawers to store clothing items."

"Sophia and Elizabeth always went above and beyond great customer service to help me. The entire staff was excellent. the Hotel is only a 10 min walk from one of the main markets. The breakfast buffet was super fresh and tasty every morning! Excellent place to stay! "

"We were only able to stay one night, but I fell in love with this hotel. Every person we came into contact with was kind, helpful and just amazing. The room was clean and clean and cozy. The location was perfect. We would love to come back again in the future. We wanted to give an extra special shout out to Costas and Alex from the night shift. They helped protect us from a dishonest cab driver. You will not regret staying at this hotel."
