"Staff was wonderful. Bed was very comfortable. Great price, value. Small gift shop for needs forgotten. Hundreds of DVDs for free along with free popcorn. Snacks available. Great place for children, as there are playgorounds, tether ball, swings, corn hole. Lots of BBQ grills and picnic areas, all on property. I went in the winter and it was very quiet. Rooms are somewhat updated."

"We stayed in cabin 202. Very clean and updated . Great view. My only complaint would be that the bed frame keeps creates a 6 inch gap between the mattress and wall. Our pillows kept falling in the gap all night so we didn’t get good sleep the entire time we were there. Everything including the super friendly staff was great though. We may just go for a regular room if we come and decide stay here due to the pillow situation. We’re sleepy!!! lol! "

"I love the location of this hotel. It sits right behind Fall River. Nicky’s sits right next to the Wapiti Colorado Pub, which is very convenient. The hotel is fully automated, and self service, meaning there is no office staff, no check in-check out process. You receive a code to unlock your a room key box. It was a little confusing, at first, but I figured it out. The bed was not as comfortable, as I would have liked, but none of this spoiled my stay. The price was incredibly reasonable. If you don’t mind a no frills experience, you will love it."

"The Ponderosa was amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub and the privacy. The room was clean and cozy. The fireplace was wonderful. The host was very friendly and helpful. The cookies were a pleasant surprise. The drive to town was easy and also to the Rocky Mountain National Park. We loved this place and hope to return soon."
