"Perfect location from the base. Excellent service at check-in and check-out. Dining experiences left a lot to be desired - service was pretty bad and took a very long time for drinks and food. Wait staff was just rude. Would’ve liked the fitness center to be included and to have daily cleaning service since theirs is no washer/dryer - not enough towels and no one to pick up used towels. Overall a lonely stay and enjoyable experience. "

"I highly recommend the Lazy Bear Lodge to anyone looking to visit the Stowe area. The house was very comfortable for our group of 8 adults. The location made accessing the Stowe Ski area quite easy and the owners were very responsive."

"This property is just okay...we checked in, took one look at the room, came back on Expedia, booked another room and left the key on the counter, all within 10 minutes of arriving at the "hotel". This place is very misrepresented on Expedia and it is cute and serene, but not for us. Upon walking in, it's a cute, cozy "living room" with a fireplace and the guy that checked us in was friendly (and shoeless...odd...). He personally walked us up to our room and told us about dinner.
