"Amazing second stay at Timberholm Inn. We absolutely love it here. The place is so cozy and welcoming. Absolutely love the homemade breakfast every morning and we made great use of the hot tub each night. Can’t wait to come back next year! "

"We had a wonderful one night stay at the Brass Lantern. Don greeted me when I arrived and showed me the common areas before showing me to our room. The room was very comfortable and clean. The common areas in the living rooms and game room were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is a short walk to the village center in Stowe and the recreational trail and about a 15 minute drive to the ski slopes. The next time we visit Stowe we will definitely stay here."

"Tim and Paula were so great. Very friendly and gave us recommendations for dining options and local activities. We had fun chatting with them over coffee in the morning while they prepped breakfast because we are early risers. We enjoyed the game room playing air hockey and cards. "Rose and Anatoly are interesting and friendly hosts at their well-maintained and comfortable B&B. Shelburne proved to be a great location for our 4-night stay: a quiet town offering both good access to Burlington and the amazing local Shelburne Museum, which is unlike anything we’ve encountered before in its diversity and quality of exhibits. Highly recommended!"

"Bud was very hospitable and overall great! Externally, very aesthetic and inviting. The interior can definitely use some TLC, but it really also depends on your expectations. It’s a country house so don’t expect anything lavish or over the top. Another reviewer wrote that it’s like staying at grandma’s. Couldn’t agree more. If you like trendy and fancy, this is not the place. If you like rustic, quiet and low key- this will do the job. We enjoyed our stay. "

"There is no place in Burlington I'd rather stay than the Hotel Vermont! This is my fifth trip staying at this hotel in as many years. This is such a unique hotel next to two typical chain hotels. It's a boutique hotel filled with all things local. A celebration of Vermont. Juniper is a great in-house restaraunt and tge second Hen of the Wood is next door. And for good reason. The staff are phenomenal and welcoming and they sell local items from the rooms in the gift shop. The rooms have a smart design with separate room for the toilet and bath with frosted barn doors that open into the room. While chain hotels put you in a generic room, this honestly feels like comfort of home...from the tweed wool bathrobe to the local authored books to the real plant in the room. Feels warm and cozy. My only minor beef is that the attached parking garage is shared with college students, so you may not end up with a spot next to the hotel door from the garage. But that is easy to overlook with everything else this hotel has to offer. If you're tired of the same old, this hotel has you covered!"
