"Neat place to stay, pool was on the cooler side for us so we lounged more around, the grounds were nice and well maintained. We used to do the central location to go to the poaz and then to Grecia and other surrounding areas, made a very comfortable home base for us!"

"Staying here for 2 days was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! We were treated like family! Albert Alonso the owner is a wonderful chef and he makes everything himself. From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. Thank you to the Alonso family!"

"I arrived early on a Tuesday after flight delays. The place was nice- a lot of construction going on- but nice. Pool looked like it needed a shock but it’s not yet hot enough. Walked into town and enjoyed good food at La casa de Layla. The host was nice. I missed breakfast because I was sleeping soundly. Comfy spot to get adjusted to Tico life. "

"We were very happy with the accommodations. The property was well maintained with lots of restaurants close by. We found a few local restaurants that were less expensive and with excellent food. Felt safe walking the streets during the day. We did not venture out at night much put that was our choice."

"We wish we would have stayed here sooner! We have stayed at multiple ABnB’s and other places and this place is by far one of our favorites. We will be back soon!"
