"We had a wonderful 2 day stay at the Mill House near Santa Cruz. Carla and her family were incredibly welcoming, generous and warm people. Right after check in we got a tour of the farm that is part of the property and her husband gave us samples of some things they grow there. Carla, her husband and daughter were extremely helpful and responsive to any little issues that came up. "We booked this because I wanted to be near the sea = we were actually high up on a rocky promontory but that was fine, view was great and we were not in the midst of loads of people. One issue is parking - we had no trouble but I can see during busy times that there may be. But there seems to be enough, just need to be creative. The house was clean and has everything - no AC but with the sea air, probably no need,. It does take time to get used to the European way of heating water for showers...

"An incredible home in an incredible area. There is so much to do nearby but yet we found that our favorite thing to do in the whole country was coming back to this villa after a day of wandering about. We will find a way to make it back one day."

"We had a wonderful week at the house. Rosa was very helpful and friendly with very good English. The house was well stocked with essentials and provided a lovely welcome basket. Air con was good and heated pool very welcome with a nice private space for eating outside and BBQ.
