"Let's be honest kids it's rated a two-star hotel and it's called motel 6. It used to be $6 to stay here in 1962, but you know what? The Carlsbad Motel 6 Beach motel is a great value. Walking distance to the beach, grocery store and restaurants. If you're looking for value and safety, it's a great place to stay. Also, it's pet friendly. We stayed here many times, and have had no issues."
