"Sonder is a good hotel for the location and price given South Beach is relatively expensive. Pool was good, bar is nice and lots of places to just sit around that are not around pool. The hotel is getting dated, it would be a good start if they replaced the carpet that goes up the stairs. Elevator was not working in the main building which is not a big deal if you’re not dependent on accessibility. Best part of Sonder was location. I will mention there was also plenty of security."

"The staff is amazing, friendly, & helpful. I had a 1 night stay before my cruise. The front desk personnel was extremely knowledgeable, with wonderful customer service. Thanks for making my stay very pleasant. I will be back to stay there again soon."

"Good location. Expensive hourly parking. Cheaper options a few blocks away. Satisfactory lodging. Rooms could use an update. Old fiberglass tubs. Could use fresh caulking. Old toilets. Strong hot shower. Friendly staff. For the disabled, so-called “handicapped rooms” are restricted to one king bed. No other options (two queen beds, etc) if one wants or needs a handicapped accessible shower. Great free breakfast. "

"We had a wonderful stay while it lasted. Staff was excellent. The location is excellent. The only drawback was the telephone n coffee machine not functioning in spite of repeated requests to set it right"
