"We booked the apartment in August 2023 so the family could attend a music event which was local to apartment. On the day of Travel 26th April 2024 the booking was cancelled via email.. No phone call to warn us but an alternative 30+ miles away was offered in the email. Unfortunetly many other people have fallen fowl to this sort of approach due to many hotels being sold out and high prices starting to appear due to both the music event and a Wolves home football game. Many hotels coming back up...

"The apartment was very comfortable and clean in all areas. During my three night stay there were no issues in terms of parking and general access. I definitely recommend this place."

"Nice hotel in Stone, rooms are good size and very reasonably priced. The bed could do with a decent topper to make it feel a bit more plush but still slept well. Rooms well equipped and furnished. Not too noisy either. "

"We needed a place to stay along a long drive, and found a room at Spread Eagle. The staff were friendly, beds were comfy and food was easily available at the carvery and restaurant. Breakfast was reasonably priced and nice. Great value."

"Most enjoyable. All the staff were friendly, especially Stephanie and Laura who couldn't do enough for us, they went over and above our expectations. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Becca took time to make sure we were okay and talked to us making us feel very welcome. THANKYOU. "

"We loved our large bedroom and the bar area, full of character, wood panelling etc. Bathrooms were Ok. Our son’s room was more modern but spacious. We were meeting family so didn’t dine in the evening but the breakfast was the usual fare, a bit dry but what what do you expect when you turn up at 9:45, not many booked in for breakfast apparently. Staff pleasant and helpful. Will stay again. "
