"Long trip from Charlotte NC area to Harrisonburg VA for family visit. Required a one night stay. Silver Lake was outstanding and recommended for your lodging needs. Wonderful staff greeted us and met all of our needs and requests. The property and our room were well maintained, clean, fresh, and homey. Hands down the best experience in a rural country setting and not the "180 room motel/hotel experience we all know". We plan to return."

"Such a lovely B & B. The hosts are so sweet. We had the Peaches & Cream room which was beautifully decorated. There is a full kitchen available to the guests & a French press, whole bean coffee & grinder in the room along with a fridge. Just be aware, if you want breakfast, you need to let the hosts know ahead of time & it’s $20/per person. I will say it was well worth it! The breakfast was delicious!"
