The cabin was cozy and perfectly located right on the lake, offering a serene and picturesque retreat. The fall colors were in full display during our stay, adding an extra layer of beauty to the experience. One of the highlights of our trip was taking a short drive to Palestine, Texas, to ride the Polar Express Christmas train—such a magical experience! Gene was fantastic, promptly responsive, and provided all the information we needed to feel fully prepared for our trip. Their attention to detail and hospitality truly made a difference. We’re already looking forward to returning with more of our family to share this amazing getaway. Thank you for such a memorable trip!"

"Everyone was friendly and helpful. Property was older but updated and very clean. The included breakfast was very good and had several choices. The Bird’s Nest cafe on the property was a very nice local place. Good food and friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay at this BW very much."

"My boys and I had a great time at this lakeside cabin over Thanksgiving. It was very restful and beautiful. The sunsets on the lake were incredible. Unfortunately the fish weren’t biting but we went kayaking a few times, had a couple bonfires and just enjoyed time together. "
