Great weekend getaway from the Dallas area. The property is large and wooded with plenty of walkable terrain. The house has a lot of entertaining areas and a great kitchen. The host was responsive and helpful and I’m sure we will be back for a longer stay next time.
My colleagues and I were in town for business and decided to stay here so we could enjoy Mother Nature and have time to work together after client meetings in the evenings and over the weekend. Our husbands joined us for the weekend, and we all had a wonderful time! Nataliya was kind, responsive, and accommodating! :)
What a great place to come relax and unwind! Beautiful home with everything you need. The pond is awesome to just sit and enjoy nature. Great communication throughout the process. Will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.
Once again, we had a great time here. Ive been coming here for years for my birthday and haven't had one bad experience. Nataliya is a great host and always on top of making sure everything is going well with our stay and very quick to respond. You wont be disappointed. Looking forward to my next stay!
This was a multi-generational family trip. This property provided a lot of space to stretch out. We really enjoyed the huge family room with the ping pong table. The lake (with canoe) was awesome. Everyone was able to catch fish! We would come here again - very quiet and peaceful.
I've been coming here for years and haven't had a bad experience one time. It's very quiet, relaxing and has some great fishing. The host, Nataliya, is so nice and has always been very quick to respond to any questions or issues i may have had. Looking forward to future trips to the property!
I've been coming to this cabin every year for my birthday since 2015 and I've had a great time every year. The owner, Nataliya, has been so accommodating and just a great host each time. I always look forward to going back...the fishing is always good and haven't had a bad time yet.

The cabin was really nice and well decorated
My family and friends had a great time there, Nataliya was so nice and accomidating. It was very peaceful and loved the fishing...I would've given it 5 stars, but the only negative things were the lack of wifi and a good phone signal...other than that it was great...looking forward to going back.
We had a great time, there were 12 of us and the house was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone and everything was clean. Nataliya was a great host, always responded to all my questions in less than 10 minutes. The kids enjoyed so much they wanted to stay longer, we are definitely planning to come back soon.

Awesome vacation and get away !!
Came with a group of 8 and it was a very awesome time we had . The fish were biting well, plenty of room to rest and lots of land to explore and have fun!! Super clean place !! A must see .. I would recommend people of all ages to take the chance to visit and vacation here !
This is the second time staying on this property. We had so much fun. The house clean and very comfortable. Nataliya was very accommodating, and the communication with her before, during and after our stay was excellent.
We had a group of 6 in town to visit family living in Palestine, a 20 minute drive away. We hosted a birthday party, watched Saturday football, and ate in every meal! The property more than adequately held our family group of 11 for our gatherings. Sleeping arrangements were more than adequate. I suspect the house would sleep 12, maybe more, people comfortably. The house is very much like a cabin. My kids said it felt like going to camp! The owner was tuned in to our every need, making our stay very comfortable. Thanks Nataliya!!

Realist review Pro's and Con's - Owner needs coaching on customer service
Pro's
-Owner was very responsive every time we messaged even late past midnight
-The ONLY property available for the amount of people we had stay (14 - 7 adults, 1 teenager, 6 kids all seven and under)
-Plenty of space and beds for a large group
-Secluded
-Comfortable beds and pillows
-Was able to maintain the temperature at a low degree downstairs (i like it cool so this was very important)
Cons
-Description says they keep the property "Immaculate". This couldn't have been further from the truth. Dead bugs in almost every light fixture. Vent filters looked like they hadn't been replaced in a few years. They had layers of filth on them.
-Leftover trash included: razor blade in the shelving unit in the wall that was in the kitchen next to the fridge, mcdonalds cup and straw in the cupboard, leftover baby chew toy under bed upstairs, plastic wrapping on banister upstairs as well as dead bugs behind beds.
-Upstairs thermostat has lock box. Owner came over once and turned it down upon request but left it on "auto" and not "on". She never came back to adjust when she said she would.
-Owner requires you to sign a waiver upon arrival, even wanted the 2-3 year old names (odd IMO).
-wifi very unreliable (understandable in the area)
-no smoke alarms or inoperable.
-listing mentions access to balcony but the door is blocked by a couch/listing says can't move furniture
-no hot water in downstairs shower (also very short)
-other 2 "showers" are more like tubs with a shower wand
-dust and cobwebs very much present especially upstairs
Owner was pleasant at first but as soon as I expressed my concern with the cleanliness, wifi not working, hot air she said if I wasn't happy then why don't I just go somewhere else. She said "you said the property was nice when you first got there". I arrived, scanned the place, and left to get groceries. Came back and unpacked then started noticing the details. She also thought it was normal for a door to still open from the inside when it was locked. We had kids and this concerned us. They did say they would be willing to replace it but we told them not to worry about it and we just put the freezer in front so no kids could get out. She said the hot water was a maintenance issue and wouldn't be able to be resolved until after the weekend. When I told her about the wifi not working she said it was working fine when she was there. Much more could be said but this only allows so many characters.
My wife and I paid to stay here for 3 nights for our anniversary and couldn’t even last an hour. Like I always do, I notified the owner of our arrival. Oddly the owner messaged back pressuring me to sign a legal liability waiver that she had waiting for me and demanded that I send her a pic of the signed form. I never had to do something like this from my multiple stays at other properties. We walked up the steps and instantly noticed animals living under the house because there’s multiple holes all over the bottom of the house. Also numerous amounts of wasp nests lined the entire outside perimeter of the house. Then we walk in to unpleasant smell of mustiness. Probably due to the animals harboring below. The AC unit is severely outdated because there’s multiple window units around the house to try and assist it. The floors are ripping up to where the whole place is uneven and can stub anybody’s toes or cause someone to lose their balance. We walked into the kitchen and were greeted with 20 flies by the sink. The furniture is all mismatched and looks like they literally picked them up from the side of the road or was donated by a thrift store. The TV was a tiny 16in sitting in a 8ft tall wooden entertainment piece. The propane grill had no propane tank provided. The charcoal bag that was left only had enough charcoal in it for 1 cookout. All of the blinds are mismatched and filled with dust and cobwebs. The green ones by the back door looks like someone with a lot of anxiety kept looking thru them and ruined them. I briefly walked the property. There is no back yard. It is all inaccessible brush. Theres a trail around the pond but that’s all I could find. Of the 114 acres, I felt like I only had free access to 1 acre. Definitely not an ATV friendly area. My wife then started suffering a severe asthma attack. Due to this we instantly had to leave to get her some relief. As soon as we left the property my wife felt instantly better thank goodness. I notified the owner and she showed no concerns for my wife’s health and instantly accused us of having cov-19 so she can avoid any subject of a refund. How many years is she going to getaway with the “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” excuse? She needs to seriously renovate the property and stop offering it to the public. It is unsafe for children as well as adults. I’m just glad my family made it out alive.
The massive private property allowed us to enjoy quiet natural surroundings, and there was plenty of comfortable space for everyone. The home could use some updates; central heat & A/C, lighting, bathrooms need actual showers instead of tubs with handheld sprayer (extremely difficult to shower if you're over 48" tall), drainage upstairs almost doesn't work. If the home was pristine and upgraded we would stay here over and over and over again.
This was my 3rd stay at the cabin and everything was just as great as the previous 2 stays. Nataliya is a wonderful host and was quick to respond to any questions or issues that I had, even though there were some issues with the VRBO app Itself making it a little difficult to communicate at times, but all in all it was a great weekend....I'm already looking forward to the next trip out.
The house was great for our group of 10. We had plenty of space and enjoyed sitting by and fishing at the pond. The large tables allowed us to all enjoyed our meals together.
Ten members of our family stayed in this spacious house. We had a blast! Nataliya, our host, couldn’t have been nicer. We asked if there was a blender and a fan for the upstairs; she said no and then bought us both. She was accommodating for all our requests and shared fun things for us to do. The kitchen was well equipped and there were beds for 12. I loved that our grandkids had their own space and kitchen upstairs. We played lots of ping pong and all my grandkids loved exploring the property.
The property was excellent due to a loss of a family member,.beautiful county,..great scenery,. & I got a chance to go fishing in the canoe at the property . I will go back and highly recommend this personal experience.👍🏽
We had 8 guys for a weekend golf trip to Pine Dunes. The home couldn’t have been more perfect and Natalya was an amazing host. Will definitely return next year.
First, I would like to say that Nataliya is an amazing host and very attentive to any needs you may have during your stay. Her home that she opened up to families is incredible. It reminded me of my grandparents cabin in New Mexico. Surrounded by huge trees and nostalgic items throughout the inside. There are the modern amenities people want, TVs, Wi-Fi upon request, etc., but why would you want those with the entire beautiful property right outside the front door. Fishing was good, only for my son because he was the only one with a catch, but it was peaceful and so relaxing down by the lake. This place is exactly what you need if getting away from the insanity of suburban life is what you are seeking. Look no further than this place.
This property is nestled in the piney woods and secluded for peace and quiet. There was plenty of space for the 12 of us and sleeping arrangements were comfortable. The property allowed for active play outdoors, hiking, private lake, canoe and fire pit.
