"What a beautiful historic hotel that has been transformed for modern convenience! Everything was great, and the one time we had a small maintenance issue, someone came within five minutes, even though it was nearly midnight. The only thing I would change would be the beds. They are like a memory foam or something, and if you sleep on the edge and you’ve had a lot of southern food, you can feel like you’re falling off the bed as it smooshes down. "

"The staff was excellent...Rooms clean and pillows were terrible. Had to move rooms due to renovation noise. Even though we moved way down hall the renovation then was above us Husband has medical issues and could not rest. We left a day early even though we had paid for another night. "

"This hotel is a decent option; for the price point. It’s convenient by the freeway, with plenty of choices for drive true or sit down dining, convenience/gas, as well as stores like kroger and dollar general nearby. The staff is nice&helpful; there is parking near lay for bigger vehicles, and plenty of spaces for cars. And while the property is on the older side and would be in the “budget” category the facility is clean and tidy& the amenities listed are actually availible! - and that means...

"The staff was very friendly! The beds were comfortable and the pool was great for the kids. The only down side was the bathroom ceiling was peeling pretty bad and there was mold in the bathroom."
