"I am giving this 5 stars because the hosts were amazing and the view was phenomenal; however there are some things to note. The showers have lukewarm water (although every sink has hot water). This was very disappointing after being out on the beach and hiking all day as all we wanted was a hot shower. The water pressure was not great in the showers. "It was okay - neighbourhood is gross (like a lot of cities and towns in Costa Rica) it’s filthy with garbage everywhere, broken sidewalks, stray dogs, etc. not really anywhere to eat except little roadside stands. "Great stay. Attentive host. A very nice place sitting on a hillside overlooking the ocean and beautiful Playa Blanca beach at the foot of the hill. Enjoyed hanging out at the large terrace and taking in the amazing view. Saw a good number of scarlet macaws and flocks of pelicans. Down at the beach saw a troop of capuchin monkeys. Would go back in a minute. "
