"This place was perfect for the two of us it was extremely quiet, close to town (5-7 min drive), surrounded by lush trees and flowers and about a 15-20 min walk to the beach. There’s also plenty of restaurants around this area that you can walk to. The cleanliness was fantastic we stayed for 9 nights and a lovely cleaner would come in daily to take out the garage, make the bed and change out towels when needed. Great communication with the host as well! Would definitely stay here again."

"We loved our stay at Vista Tortuga. The property was great, and the self-contained apartments worked really well for our group. The common areas were fantastic, and we loved hanging out by the pool and on the rooftop deck with views of the ocean. There’s an amazing coffee shop down the street that opens at 7am and makes healthy food, some gluten free, and the drink offerings use more interesting ingredients than you typically see. "Spent my bachelor party here with 9 friends. Frank was super accommodating and the place was perfect. We set up a volleyball net out front, had bonfires every night, and went to Cerritos to surf everyday. 10/10 would do it again. Also the place was super spacious for all ten of us. It was really nice having the three different "houses" where we could bel loud in one and others could relax in another. thanks Fred!"

"The property was excellent in that it had the right accommodation for our family of 6 plus our 2 year old grandson . (Not ideal for little ones as the plantation (cactus) steps and steep edges were present so full supervision was required, however we were advised of that on booking) . "My wife and I looked this property to stay for a few nights on our anniversary trip. We had such a great time taking walks on the beach and eating our meals outside on the patio. Cerritos Beach just north of here is great for surfing and has some cool restaurants and a little farther north of that are Pescadero and todos Santos.B have great restaurant options. The owners were very . We stayed in the studio and it had everything we needed."

"We returned to Cerritos this year and stayed 2 weeks. We just love this place and hope it somehow stays the quaint little surf town that it is. The amount of construction in front of the condo is a little alarming. We are so glad for the rooftop so we can still see the ocean We love going to all the little restaurants in the area and were excited to see some new additions. The new closet in the condo is wonderful!! We hope Howie and Maggie will rent to us again next year the rooftop "

Plunge Pool and Beautiful Garden room

"Loved the plunge pool right outside the bathroom! Beautiful garden views with the big glass doors and windows and the incredibly comfy bed and sheets made for a great stay! Walking across the street to the beach is a great bonus and this is my favorite, friendly place to stay at Cerritos Beach! "
