We were lucky that when we got back to the hotel after our friends daughters wedding reception we were treated to live folk music in a well stocked bar. A lovely relaxing end to a delightful day"

"A very welcome overnight stop on our way to the Lake District - not too far from the M6 but in a beautiful part of the country. The room was very comfortable and the hotel was charming - a peaceful village location with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. "First time stopping here, beautiful location, very friendly/ warm welcome , the room is 4/5 star, lovely decoration , everything you need , extremely clean and comfy bed, dined in the restaurant for evening meal and the food was huge portion and delicious, I had the steak and ale pie, my colleague the Steak , both plates polished off .i tend to go for hotel chains normally but stopping at the Ribchester arms has certainly opened my eyes to something better, without doubt if I get the chance...
