"Tje heated pool and hot tub were absolutely glorious after being out in the cold and the tain in Tahoe. The full kitchen was also well equipped for making a home cooked meal. 😊 We will definitely stay here again! ❤"

"We absolutely loved our time here. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The forest view was lovely and yet we were so close to the Heavenly Gondola. We had 5 adults and 4 children in the 6 bedroom Villa #11. We had a lovely view of the forest out the back and the Gondolas out the front corner windows. The listing does need to be updated for accuracy though. On the negative side there was no desk (although the listing said there was one). But, on the up side, the 6 bedroom listing said 4...

"We had a great weekend! A very nice apartment with access to a beautiful stretch of beach. We also loved the hot tub. Very uncrowded and good location for nearby hikes and strolls."

"A great place to stay and in a good location for us. On the Blvd away from it all but close enough to be anywhere we needed to be in less than 10 minutes. We were on the go the entire time.Nice and Clean. Great night sleep. Great place to shower, change and get back out on the town. Great local beers, food and coffee within walking distance."

"We came for a soccer tournament. This location was close to the fields. It’s a very cute cabin that you can go and relax. It has a nice hang out area outside which was great with the kids. The lake also is very close! We would stay again. "

"The location of Lakeland Village is amazing, walk to the beach, pier and pool for a family friendly vacation. However, the unit is not worth the price, and needs many updates and upgrades to make it comfortable. Motel quality bedding, and furniture. There were no fans to help with the intense heat. The unit was not vacuumed and everything felt very old and dusty."

"My husband & I were very happy with our stay at South Lake Chalet. The location was great, we walked to Heavenly Village everyday for shopping and restaurants. The room was nicely updated, cute little kitchenette and clean bathroom. Lots of thoughtful amenities & extras (earplugs & masks, makeup wipes, extra towels, etc). We had our dog with us and had no problems. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Our family of 5 stayed here for 4 days and never had to get in the car except to golf. We walked to the beach, dinner, entertainment and shopping. I would 100% stay here again. It is super clean. The management was on call at a moments notice and very nice. I can’t wait to go back."

"This property has been neglected. Cigarette butts and dog feces on grounds--perhaps because there were no bins to dispose of waste. Sparse outdoor seating. Wiped up a water spill on the floor of our room with a paper towel and it came away filthy. The bed had as much motion as a water bed. No vanity in the bathroom so where do you put your toiletries? Sparse kitchenette with minimal utensils and strange mini-appliances. Convenient location but far from comfortable accommodations."

"Didnt realize this was a hotel place. I thought this was a condo/townhouse. I didnt see the name of the property clearly on the booking. I messaged the property but didn't get a response. The place was clean and quiet for our one night stay. Close to everything in town. "

"My daughter, 3 year old granddaughter and I went for a quick mini vacation. The location was great! Super easy and convenient to walk to the beach and to all the shops. We loved that our room was above the parking garage as we did not have to worry about any below us being bothered by my granddaughter running around. The staff was super nice and welcoming. My negatives are that there is no upper latch/lock on the door so my granddaughter kept opening and running down the hall. I could not sleep as I was worried about her getting out. Floor is squeaky but definitely not bad enough that we would not stay there again. Shower is a bit small but again, that did not bother us since we were loving staying there. Before we left we looked at the hotel online and it did not mention a hot tub, we even looked a few times. We did not bring swimsuits and sure enough there was a hot tub. This definitely needs to be added to the description on Expedia. Keep in mind that everything is more expensive in Tahoe, especially food, but if you drive down the road for a couple of hours, you can more reasonably priced food. We really enjoyed the great service and food we got at iHOP. In conclusion, I definitely recommend this hotel and we will definitely be staying there again."
