"We had a fantastic weekend at the lake! The house was comfortable, spotless and well laid out, the pictures do not do it justice! The location is perfect, easy to walk or drive to the lake and an awesome backyard to relax in, play games, use the hot tub and make sā€™mores at the fire pit. "Perfect for a weekend visit attending a wedding at the Autumn Estate just down the road. The place was clean and complete with routine amenities! They even left waters and some beverages in the fridge. It was small for 2 couples but we didnā€™t spend much time in the cottage anyway, so it got the job done! "

"Beautiful, private cottage with exceptional hosts. Lisa was attentive and accommodating to our needs, and very easy to communicate with. The house was immaculate, and very thoughtfully decorated. We brought our boat and were grateful for the private dock...we had a great time fishing, waterskiing and exploring the lake as well as traveling up the Songo River thru the locks. We had a wonderful, wholesome family vacation and look forward to visiting again. Thank you for opening up your home to us!"

"The cottage looks as pictured. The two main bedrooms are upstairs and the one bathroom is downstairs which is a bit tricky to find in the middle of the night. Neighborhood is exceptionally quiet and dark at night. Not sure where the beach and boat ramp are. Fireplace heater is lovely. BYO coffee -- no pods provided for even the first day."

"Overall, we enjoyed our time. A few things that need to be addressed, like the distance between the parking and house. You'll need a wagon, something on wheels, especially if you are older. Checking in process is a bit confusing, we had to call the 800 #. However, it's a beautiful spot, very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely recommend."

"We had one prerequisite: unfettered access to both Lake Wentworth and the Cotton Rail Trail. We learned this property is actually on Fernald Basin, separated from Wentworth in 1872. I found no area by which to easily portage a kayak up out of the basin and over to Lake Wentworth. The basin has snapping turtles, lots of undergrowth. Kayaking on Wentworth requires vehicle transport. (Allen Albee Beach is a private beach and requires a pass, which was not left). Access to the trail is only by means...
