"Beautiful, private cottage with exceptional hosts. Lisa was attentive and accommodating to our needs, and very easy to communicate with. The house was immaculate, and very thoughtfully decorated. We brought our boat and were grateful for the private dock...we had a great time fishing, waterskiing and exploring the lake as well as traveling up the Songo River thru the locks. "Everything was wonderful about our stay. One of the best rentals we have had over the years, and Janet has thought of everything, and the house is so very clean. The location cannot be beat with the waterfront, the dock and the swimming raft and loved having the boats available to us. "Everything was so easy for checking in! The house was very well stocked with anything you would need. There were even extras just in case you forgot something like a tooth brush shampoo etc... Everything was neat and tidy when we arrived! The fishing on the pond was great! Caught plenty of bass and pickerel! Plenty of hiking to do nearby! And the best part was we were able to bring our two pups with us! They had a blast on the pond! The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate...

"We spent a week on Sheep Island in July 2024. We loved it. The accommodations were beautiful, the kitchen well enough equipped, the beds comfortable, the lake clean and the view amazing. We had 2.5 days of rain so were glad for the games and puzzles available. I think it would have been nice to have a clothesline for the swimming towels to dry. The chairs in the main area were about the only thing we would change. With the amount of rain, we were stuck inside but not very comfortably. ...

"This is the second time that we have rented this property. The lake is so peaceful and warm. The town has everything you need from a donut shop, takeout stand, a restaurant that also has great takeout, a great grocery store, etc. The camp also has everything you need. We stayed here with our adult children. There are four bedrooms and an upstairs and downstairs. It’s easy to either spend time together or to have your own space.
