"Really lovely apartment just outside the city walls. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable and with everything you need for a great stay. Little extras including, sourdough bread, butter, preserves, milk, coffee, tea, orange juice, cereals, chocolate , wine and a treat from Betty's all made it feel really special and that you are very welcome. Communication before arrival was great, as was check in when we were helped with our bags down the steps and shown around. Anita (our host) was on holiday...

"The house was well laid out, immaculately clean and comfortable. The location was fab for easy access to the city on foot (we parked the car outside the house and didn't use it again until the drive home!), and the parking permit made it all very easy. A beautiful house for a really restful break - we would use this again!"

Had a relaxing stay and would definitely consider again next time we were in York. Small supermarket and Mrs Greedy’s at end of road was excellent for supplies and a quick cooked breakfast. "

"We cannot fault our stay, we had a lovely time and location was excellent, we walked to everything within minutes, apart from the railway museum, when we caught the land train from the Minster. The house was lovely and having the outside space was a real bonus as at the end of the week it was warmer and we had coffee out there. We liked the snug and spent a couple of the evenings watching films . We will definitely be bck in York as it was our first trip there and would like to come back in...

"Property exactly as described, couldnt fault it. All bedrooms en suite (1 with a bath) and added bonus of a toilet downstairs. It had everything we needed and the Christmas trees and decorations were a really nice touch. Owners really friendly, responsive and very helpful and check in and out was really smooth. Great location as only 20/25 min leisurely walk to York Minster and 20 mins to The Shambles and 15 min walk from the station. Thoroughly recommended for anyone staying in York. Would...
