"We've stayed at this property before. We love the place. Even in winter. Easy walk to Commercial Street. Parking is a challenge. Additional parking is available across the street."

"John welcomed us and was a remarkable host. We stayed in six different accomodations on this trip and this one was by far our favorite. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Parking is free and convenient. John gave us a great dining recommendation which was within an easy 8-10 minute walk. We would love to stay here again. Thank you for being a great host. "

"The Martin house was clean and the room was spacious and well decorated. I particularly liked the walk-in shower. Unfortunately, the room I chose did not have a television (but it is quite possible that others on the property do have one). I was a bit dissapointed in the breakfast. It was more of a continental breakfast and the pastry the second day was a bit stale. Other than that, my stay was enjoyable. "

Would have rated it higher but the king bed was uncomfortable (the mattress had a high spot in the middle and sags on both sides) and the shower was too small (it was in a small tub with a curtain on all sides that stuck to me while I was showering)"
