"The hotel is in a good position by the pier and the beach. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was basic but perfectly adequate. The only thing that really let it down was the carpet in the room that was gritty and definitely hadn’t been hoovered. The hotel is a bit dated now but for the price we paid I was very happy with our stay."

"Had a very pleasant stay at the Chatsworth Hotel. I was greeted by the Hotel Manager George who advised I'd been given a complimentary Upgrade to a very nice suite. The Hotel was beautiful with the original lift that is apparently about 100 years old, I was then taken up to my suite and given lots of very useful information. "The apartments are lovely, and have everything you need; washing machine, microwave, toaster, oven etc. The only thing that would stop me coming again, is the exorbitant price charged for dogs. £20 per dog PER NIGHT! We have 2 small dogs, staying for 5 nights which would be an extra £200 on the bill! We queried it, and they reduced it to £15 per dog per night. But that is still an extra £150. Other places we have stayed in, charge between £20-£50 per stay. So, as lovely and convenient as it is,...
