"Staying at Shikitei was a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were tranquil and beautiful. Nara Park is so close, we were able to get my grandaughter feed the deer and run around even on our walk to the train station. Our stay matched the pictures and reviews that I read - such a great experience! I had a Shiatsu massage there - it was very reasonable and so good that I wish I could have a massage like that at home!"

We always feel home at this ryokan by the friendly, polite and professional staff. Our favorite room with our own private onsen is just amazing and has all the amenities we need for our short stays. "Service and food were excellent. We had Japanese dinner and breakfast. Each were well prepared and presented. Very walkable area. Private bath was very nice touch after long day of travel and walking around town. "
