"Our room was conveniently located close to Cleatwater Beach and Shepherd's Resort, where we attended a wedding. Cleanup was still occurring following the aftermath of the recent hurricanes. Our room was clean and orderly. The overall property of Pelican Pointe Resort was satisfactory. We stayed for 5 nights, and on several occasions, other guests were blaring music on the balconies, and it often smelled like weed. And whatever, to each their own, but at times it was overwhelming."

It got 4 stars because it was a little dated and communication was a mixed bag. It was either sparse on things I need info on or way more than I needed on things that had already been communicated. Also - be aware that there is not a lot going on in this area. There are a handful of restaurants but you will have to drive for most restaurants, grocery,...
