"The welcome I received was super and, from the get-go, all the staff were extremely happy to help in any way, possible. Martyn was a super star with nothing being too much trouble or inconvenient! I had the rather embarrassing situation of having my (company) credit card declined upon arrival however, with a simple smile and very pleasant attitude, Martyn waved away the immediate situation with a view that 'we can look at it again, tomorrow'. Unfortunately, the beer was too good and the room...

"Yes odd that they have cups and no saucers in room and for breakfast. Also when we arrived the gentleman who opened the door wasn’t the most welcoming."

"The hotel looked lovely but unfortunately we didn't get to stay. Turned up to find hotels.com had not passed out booking into hotel so left with nowhere to stay in remote countryside. I'd recommend the eco lodge - staff were lovely but not hotels.com -it took almost a month to get a refund only by going via my bank's anti fraud process."

"The Inn is in a quiet location and is reasonably well appointed. We were inpressed by the staff who are friendly and efficient. We were not impressed by the uncontrollable heating in the room which resulted in sauna-like heat all day and all night."

"If I could rate our stay 10000/10 I would. Staff friendliness and kindness went above and beyond. The cleanliness of the hotel and the room was impressive and the bed made us feel like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was lovely as well. Also it’s a 15 minute walk to Burley Village. My cousin and I loved our stay at Moorhill House!"

"The photo is taken from the back garden so the front looks nothing like expected. The location is lovely but the house itself needs modernisation. It was relatively clean but smelt a bit musty. Not the worst place I have stayed but it was like staying with your nan in the 1970's. The host was pleasant but a little eccentric. "
