"Really cool place. The property was gorgeous.. right on the beach! We saw staff constantly cleaning or tidying up. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The Hotel is right on the beach and more than enough space for guests to spread out. We loved the chairs and table right outside our sliding glass door. That was nice for those beautiful sunrises/sunsets. The restaurant upstairs was delicious, some of the best food in town. The restaurant staff was also very nice, particularly the young man who was our server multiple nights. We enjoyed coffee in the morning from the cafe downstairs. My husband fly fished from the beach every morning/evening and it was “some of the craziest fishing he’s ever done” The location is perfect, right on the beach but close enough to town that we walked there everyday and didn’t feel the need to get a rental vehicle. My husband is already planning another trip back! We will most definitely recommend Playa Del Sol to anyone. Thank you for such an amazing and memorable Birthday! "

"Loved this place so much! The rooms are small and a little dated and no fridge but since the restaurant on site was so good and fair priced it wasn't much of an issue. The food and drinks are excellent. The beach is empty and peaceful. Water is super safe for swimming. You can even feel the hot spring water in the sand on the shoreline. Amazing. Will for sure stay here again"

"This place is fantastic. We went there for a baby moon. Highly recommended! The service was great! The chef is really great and made special wishes a reality. I’m definitely coming back. The access to the beach can’t be beat. The rooms were spacious and clean. Lots of pillows. They included kayaks, snorkel equipment, and their cabanas were not at extra charge. The service team was phenomenal! So kind, respectful, helpful and nice. "

"Great off the beaten path location for exploring the Sol de Mayo Waterfall and the surrounding Sierra de la Laguna mountain range near the small town of Santiago. We really enjoyed the hike to the waterfall and exploring the Cañon de la Zorra (Fox Canyon) above the falls. The accommodations weren't fancy, but we did enjoy the peace and tranquility of the desert landscape and the beautiful oasis tucked away amid the arid canyon. Star gazing at night from the roof top was the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. As a side note, if you get down to the falls early in the day, you should have the place all to yourself before the crowds/visitors from the surrounding areas show up. I would recommend calling ahead of time if you plan to eat at the Rancho or in the town of Santigo (about 20-minutes away), as we found that most places were closed on the Wednesday that we visited."

In all our years of traveling, Casita Tortuga is definitely our favorite spot! The casita was spotlessly clean, perfectly equipped, and has the most gorgeous views of the Sea of Cortez. It is the perfect destination for a couple looking to get away from the busy crowds of Cabo San Lucas to relax and a prime location for exploring the many beauties and hidden beaches located on the East Cape. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrise each morning from the front porch along with the sights and sounds of watching the mobula rays jump, twist, turn, flip, and flop atop the bay each day. We were even lucky enough to watch a humpback whale one morning just offshore as it repeatedly slapped the water with its large flippers. The kayaks were a perfect complement for exploring the crystal-clear waters and paddling out along the shore was definitely one of the highlights from our trip. Unfortunately, the days went by way too fast, and now we’re left dreaming of when we can come back for another visit. "

"Casa Los Arcos is a gem of a spot. The huge home and humble casita have plenty of room for three families (we had 11 total). The separation of space was great, and all the rooms were comfortable and well furnished. The backup generator was great when others on the beach lost electricity one evening. The wrap-around patio is a great feature. It offers plenty of room to be outside without being in the direct sun, perfect for reading and meals. The pool was excellent, and the beach provided quick access to great snorkeling.One cautionary point for those considering this spot is that the road to Punta Pescadero is rough. A Jeep or similar, heavier-duty SUV is more comfortable (though not required) than a simple crossover. This is a great place to hunker down for lazy days in the water. We needed to drive more than we planned, and would have preferred not to have to drive that road as much. "
