"This house was close to Portland in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It had plenty of space for me, my wife, and four kids. I love the care the owners take to make sure we have the comforts of home. It's fully stocked up with towels, toilet paper, kitchen cookware, you name it. They also took the time to label all of the light switches so you know how to turn everything one. "It was a good experience overall, other than a couple of guys inspecting the back of the property one morning. And we had yard work happening one morning. Later that week, both of the entrances to the cottage were being paved while we were out, and we had no way back to the property . All in all it was an ok experience."

"The little “camp” was spotless, the decor modern and impressive, attention to every detail and comfort well-thought out, and amenities numerous. There were cozy spots for reading or gazing out at the lake. The deck allowed for serious star-gazing. The location is quiet, yet a short drive from bustling Portland or quieter towns. I enjoyed kayaking on the lovely, clear, clean lake, as well as long walks on the camp roads. Check-in/checkout was a breeze. An idyllic getaway!!"

"When we arrived at the property, it was exactly as described in the listing and even a little larger than we expected. The setting was beautiful and so peaceful! I loved watching the water from my seat around the fire and listening to all of the woodland creatures going about their day. My son also loved that it was a "classic" Maine Camp.... it was just like one would imagine. We would definitely recommend and stay here again."

"This dog friendly 2BR cottage is right on crystal clear Tripp Lake, with a large screened in porch/family room. It is small but very well appointed and maintained. The weekend we were there it was very quiet, and we had the beach to ourselves. Enjoyed kayaking, hiking nearby, and hearing the loons daily. Owners and manager were very thoughtful and responsive. Highly recommend!"

"Overall cute house and it’s great it’s dog friendly. I expected dog hairs etc but found human hairs in bathroom and dirty towel hanging. Husband found floss stick on ground too. They offered to come clean it for us which was really nice, and we didn’t feel we needed. Bed and couches really comfy. Shower loud noise. Great they have laundry. Overall good stay but very much like a rustic cabin and probably needs a different cleaner"

"We had a fabulous time. You would never know there was a town 2 miles from the house. It was very peaceful and welcoming. The cottage was very clean and had no issues what so ever. We were able to choose from quite a few events going on in the area and enjoy the fall foliage. "
