"Lovely hostel, right beside Garda station so nice and save. Facilities are great, food and bar on premises. Only issue was it was very warm in the room at night so people opening the window and it was a little noisy with street sounds. Overall I was very happy with the stay, breakfast and price was great "

"Property clean. Was woken up at 7am by cleaners making loud noise."

"Staff was very quick with responses when we arrived and needed the code for the door, pod was very cosy and clean, we had a great night. Would definitely stay again :) "

"Location is phenomenal!"

"Good hostel. Each bed has plugs, light and a ledge which was nice to use. No curtains. Downfall would be no communal showers so although there was a shower in the room you might have to wait for others in the room. There were two additional toilets downstairs. Kitchen was nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Walkable to almost everything. Upstairs rooms are probably quieter at night."

"The hostel was clean and the bed was so comfortable ( better than most places I have stayed). There was only 3 washrooms with showers on each floor for many ppl, so a bit of wait. The hostel seem like more a long term stay, so there were no activities, the staff were nice but didn't help with recommendations in area. The common area was small and limit seatings so not inviting. Couple of recommendations: add more chairs in rooms as you can't sit on lower bunk ( to short), a shelf in the bathroom...

"Excellent stay at the Leevin Hostel. Just stayed the one night, but the facilities there (kitchen, communal rooms, garden etc) are fantastic, so could have easily stayed longer. The venue is clean and well lit. The hallways are quirky, like an old country mansion which I quite liked. Staff are incredibly patient and helpful. Would highly recommend."

"Very convenient for exploring Dublin. Get what you expect from a hostel, 24/7 front desk which is good. Only small issue is rooms at the rear of the hostel are a bit of a trek to get to and back onto a nightclub, fine if you're in the club until closing which we ended up doing both nights."

"Utter disaster. Arrived at hostel to be told that it was under renovation and no room was available. Simply not good enough from the hostel and Hotels.com. "

The location was very good: a short walk to the Liffey River and touristy section of Dublin. The immediate Area of LIVStudent Dublin was less touristy and had some good pubs (Cobblestones has good live music, Walsh's Pub had great atmosphere, bartenders, and friendly locals) and restaurants (Lavanda, Wuff). "The hotel is very convenient for getting to by bus, there's a couple restaurants nearby and cafés nearby - the room was nice and big, and the bed was massive! I enjoyed the reading chair and the big TV which had YouTube as well"

"This is our third visit to the Skylon and we still love to stay here while in Dublin. The staff are always incredibly helpful and friendly, especially the older doorman. Right on the bus line, it is very convenient to catching the bus into city center or up to the airport. The Cat & Cage pub a block away serves some of the best food in the city. There are amenities within walking distance and the closeness to the Botanic Gardens & Griffith Park make it such a pleasant visit. We consider the Skylon our Dublin home each time we visit. "
