"We had a great time at the Mickleover. The hotel was well located near Derby with ample parking. What made our stay great was that everything in the room was working properly with a good level of upkeep. "It was an amazing experience with the little ones.. Never seen such clean rooms in london till now . Staff was helpful and understanding too which you hardly get anywhere.. We did late checkout request as my toddler was unwell and been to hospital too ,came home in the morning so for her good sleep we requested late checkout and they allowed us with a smile ."

"We were made very welcome by Laura on reception who was very friendly and answered all our questions so wanted to mention her particularly. Room was nice and comfortable, breakfast was good and Laura helped show us where everything was."

"We had a lovely 2 night stay at Stone House Hotel in one of the garden rooms. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was modern, clean, and spacious, with a lovely big bath and nice toiletries to use (bath/shower gel, shampoo/conditioner, hand wash). Not necessarily negatives, but things to consider: Being in a garden room, we had patio doors out. It was lovely, however meant we didn't have a window to open when it was warm, and we didn't want to leave a door open overnight! Also, to access these rooms you had to go up stairs, and then back down, despite them being on the ground floor. I don't think there was any other access to them. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice. We had dinner in the Indian restaurant one night, which was also very nice. Stone is a 20 minute walk away, and has some nice places to eat and walks along the canal. We would definitely stay again if in the area."

"Really clean and Cory hotel, with plenty of room in the ones with a kitchenette. Everything you needed was in the rooms, but could order extras via QR code if needed which was really handy. Staff were lovely. Will be booking again off I’ve ever back in the area."
