"A fantastic stay! Arrived around 9pm after a long day at Alton towers to a very warm and friendly welcome from Georgia & Jamie. Georgia showed us to our rooms and was very thorough. Breakfast we were looked after by Sammi who was so understanding & helpful with our breakfast needs (me a veggie, my teenager a fussy eater and o/h on the carnivore diet!) when it came to pay the bill, we questioned the price due to a quoted price on our booking which was confirmed on the phone before our trip!...

"Fabulous staff. Excellent food. Very comfortable bed. Shower head had a leak but was replaced very promptly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only slight criticism would be that it was a bit messy near the bedrooms. "

"We had a perfectly good stay at the Dog and Partridge, but the accommodation didn’t transpire to be what we expect. We were anticipating a cozy room, in a country pub setting but, in reality, the D&P offers good value, chalet-style family rooms, each with it’s own car port, in a large area behind the pub itself. The pub itself has a nice enough bar, and offers fair evening meals, with a home-cooked feel, and a very good continental breakfast selection, or cooked options for just £6 extra. This...

"Mark , his wife and team create a friendly atmosphere where nothing is too much of a problem. My only criticism would be the standard of the croissants and danish pastries. they never looked fresh and appetising, the croissants were very bready, I will let you off the fruit selection because the whole country suffers from that!!!"

"Stayed at the Globe a few times now. Love the ease of access into town or train station. Check in/out is always very easy. Rooms are always tidy and spotless. "

"I spent two nights hear so saw lots of different staff and they was all amazing. I had the single room which is probably only a few inches off been a double, so great. I had two evening meals which were both fantastic and also fantastic value for money. But the breakfast is the show stopper for me. If you like a full English you will love this hotel"

"The Bulls Head is a lovely old pub. The building has many interesting features, blended with the comfort of modern living. We had an en suite room which had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pub is friendly and mainly used by people going to eat. "Warm and very clean accommadation, exvellent breakfast, staff so helpful . In the room maybe some different teas (mint camomile etc ) I bring my own as I dont bring breakfast tea, but I'm just being picky. Crrtainly reccomend staying her. "

"Stayed in the log style cabins. Lovely place to stay. Clean and tidy. Quiet and tranquil with lovely surroundings. I was very impressed with the accommodation and grounds. There is limited parking. We had a dedicated parking spot for our cabin and someone on the 2nd night decided to park their car there for the last few nights of our stay. "Fantastic cottage for our short break. Communication with owner and directions to the property were perfect. The cottage was spotless on arrival and the pool was even better than the photos. The surrounding area was beautiful and great for walking. All in all one of the best short breaks we’ve ever had."
