"The furniture looked and felt like old Good Will vintage. The bed was uncomfortable. What looked to be a sofa cushion was blocked by railings and couldn’t be used. The shower was a trickle of water. The pool that appears in the picture was dirty and blocked by fencing. The outdoor furniture was old, dirty and uncomfortable. The food was of poor quality. The excellence award at the front entrance is not applicable. The housekeeper was pleasant and helpful."

"This property was built in 1912... before elevators and central AC was thing...wink, wink. The 3 flights of stairs weren't as daunting after we lugged the luggage up them and the AC wall unit kept it pretty cold. They are expanding and I'm sure the newer section will have all the modern bells and whistles. Parking is around the corner, but it is free for hotel guests...so there's the win there. Would I stay again? Yes! The price was right, the property's cute with a nice vibe, the staff was...
