"The highlight of this place for us was the location - a very easy 5 minute walk to old town, and also Macy’s in the other direction. The room size is fine and as expected. There was a fridge and microwave which was a bonus we were not expecting. The air con worked well. Shower temperature and pressure were good. On the down side, the bathroom had a strong urine smell but since you couldn’t smell it in the main room, we didn’t bother reporting it as we had already made ourselves comfortable....

"hotel is nice and rooms are clean. but WARNING! they are being deceptive - water in the mini-fridge turned out to be $8 per bottle - and it said nowhere that there was a charge for the water or how much it would be (and I did look! since I found no indication otherwise I assumed water would be complementary). I called after getting this billed and they did refund me, but this was sneaky and I guess they count on most people not bothering to call. BEWARE!"

"Place was clean staff were friendly but the place is dated and need a refresh. The walls aren't insulated well so you can hear the a/c of other rooms in yours. "

"The Fong Mansion is beautiful. It was built in the 1930s I believe. It has an elegant feel but homey. We enjoyed sitting in the living room looking out the beautiful windows at the park across the street. There are also 2 reading chairs upstairs on the second floor with the same view. We were in the Tranquility Room. The bath and shower were wonderful! Breakfast was wonderful as well as the wine!!! We would love to return! Minor suggestions: I would have loved the option to buy a soda!...
