"This was a great place to stay in the heart of downtown! It’s only 2 min walk from Powell's (my favorite place in Portland) and the heart of the downtown shopping area. The hotel itself was very spacious and clean, but for a reasonable price! They had the cushiest bed and bathrobes for us to use. My only gripe was that the wifi was pretty awful. It was slow and constantly cut out, so I wouldn’t recommend this place for working travel as the wifi wasn’t reliable. "

"It was a lovely check-in and check-out process but it would've been nice to have the option not to have the first room off the elevator area. I also would've appreciated any details related to accessing the library next door, as the property really puts it front and center in its marketing. It felt closed off and I didn't know if I was permitted due to a (possible) private gathering. Valet was the most convenient option for us and would recommend versus parking in the downtown area unless you find a covered overnight garage. My boyfriend enjoyed the coffee and our room felt incredibly safe, clean, huge TV, and comfy linens. I noticed no bottled water in the lobby fridge with plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. "
