"This hotel is so beautiful! The view from my room of the main square was amazing. When I first arrived the main square was empty, waking up in the morning to the sounds of birds was wonderful, the massive Mexican flag blowing in the wind is an incredible site! Then I got to experience first hand how alive this city is when a peaceful protest started and within hours the streets around the hotel were shut down and the square was full of tents! The hotel had given me plenty of warning and worked to accommodate all guests. At no point did I feel unsafe and honestly it only added to my amazing experience of the city. The staff was always smiling and always there to help and answer any questions I had. Yes, the city centre is very busy and can be a little overwhelming, but being able to return to my hotel room and relax while enjoying the sites and sounds from my balcony was perfect. I would recommend anyone thinking of visiting Mexico City to stay here, spend the extra money and get a room with the Zocalo view! "
