"I arrived at this Hilton Hotel and it was like stepping back in time. The lobby and bar is like a scene from a gangstar film with a piano bar and cocktails flowing (without the smoke). Great crowd and food from the 1931 bar. The hotel looks like it has all its original fittings, which is pleasant in this day and age. "The staff was great, but the rooms and building needs some maintenance. The room needed some touchup on the furniture and in the bathroom. The pool area had a leak in the roof. We stayed when there was a convention going on and the group was really loud, but not the hotels fault. The breakfast was an amazing each day and the staff was great. "

"The room was smaller than expected, and all the noise from outside came in. I stayed there for New Year's, but not only could I hear the sounds of the celebration, I could also hear every step and conversation of people walking in the hallway. The fire alarm went off at night, and a manager (I assume it was the hotel manager) was running through the hallway, asking, 'Is everyone okay in here?!' That seemed like an unusual fire safety procedure."
