"Hotel 1898 was a lovely stay. The location is convenient and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Despite the busy street below, it was quiet and the multiple layer curtains kept out all the light for a comfortable night rest. The view from the rooftop was incredible. The spa was also fantastic! "I had a great stay at this hotel! The location is excellent, right on Gràcia Street, with plenty of shopping stores, restaurants, and a metro station nearby. Many famous tourist attractions are also within easy reach. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was diverse, plentiful, and delicious, especially the made-to-order dishes, which were exceptional. "Great staff and cafe beside the hotel is vey yummy but stay away from the Greenvita. Staff is very unfriendly. Out of 40 tables, only one was occupied and the staff would not allow me to sit by the window as I was only one. They wanted to put me behind a post. The place was totally empty and they would rather lose my business than let me sit by the window. "
